...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
  areas, Orange County Coastal Areas, Orange County Inland Areas,
  Riverside County Mountains, San Bernardino County Mountains, San
  Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San
  Gorgonio Pass Near Banning and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will produce
    moderate to locally heavy rainfall at times through Wednesday
    afternoon. The main threat in the mountains will be for
    elevations below 4500 feet as the snow level falls to around
    4000 feet late tonight and fluctuates around 4500 feet on
    Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 10
  inches between 4000-5000 ft, 1 to 2 feet between 5000-6000 ft,
  2 to 3 feet between 6000-7000 feet, and 4+ feet above 7000
  feet. Winds gusting to 60 to 70 mph.

* WHERE...San Bernardino County Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will fall to around 4000 feet
  late tonight. The snow level will then fluctuate around 4500
  feet for Wednesday afternoon and evening. Periods of heavy snow
  expected tonight into Wednesday, with more light to moderate
  snow showers expected Wednesday night into Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
