...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO 2 AM
PDT MONDAY...

* Winds...Areas of southwest to west winds 25 to 35 mph with
  gusts to 55 mph. Isolated gusts to 65 mph.

* Timing...Winds strengthening this morning with the strongest and
  most widespread winds this afternoon and evening. Winds
  gradually diminishing late tonight.

* Location...Near mountain ridge tops and along desert slopes of
  the mountains into adjacent desert areas, including through
  San Gorgonio Pass.

* Visibility...Reduced at times in the desert due to blowing
  sand and blowing dust.

* Impacts...The winds will make driving difficult...especially
  for motorists with high profile vehicles. Watch for broken
  tree limbs and downed power lines. In the deserts...areas of
  blowing dust and sand could locally reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO
MIDNIGHT PDT TONIGHT ABOVE 6500 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches
  are expected, with localized amounts up to 8 inchesabove 7500
  feet. There will also be southwest to west winds 25 to 35 mph
  with gusts to 55 mph with blowing snow on the higher peaks.

* WHERE...Mountains above 6500 feet. Snow with little or no
  accumulation may occur down to around 5500 feet tonight.

* WHEN...From noon today to midnight PDT tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Tree
  branches could fall. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
