...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Areas of east to northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
  to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Mountains, valleys, inland Orange County, and the San
  Gorgonio Pass.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will continue to slowly weaken with
  strongest gusts along the coastal slopes of the mountains in San
  Diego into the adjacent inland valleys, along and below the
  coastal slopes of the Santa Ana Mountains, and in the inland
  Empire below the San Gorgonio Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR MOUNTAINS...VALLEYS...INLAND
ORANGE COUNTY...AND THE SAN GORGONIO PASS...

* WIND...Northeast to east winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55
  mph. Isolated gusts to 80 mph. The strongest winds will be
  through this morning.

* HUMIDITY...Lowest daytime humidity of 6 to 10 percent with poor
  overnight recovery.

* TIMING...Winds will be strongest through this morning. Winds for
  tonight through Saturday evening will not be as strong nor
  widespread.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Damaging winds could occur, capable of downing trees and
  power lines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

FOR MOUNTAINS...VALLEYS...INLAND ORANGE COUNTY...AND THE SAN
GORGONIO PASS...

* LOCATION...Mountains, valleys, inland Orange County, and the San
  Gorgonio Pass.

* WIND...For Orange and southwestern San Bernardino Counties,
  areas of northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. For
  Riverside and San Diego Counties, areas of east winds 25 to 35
  mph with gusts to 55 mph and isolated gusts to 70 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Lowest daytime humidity around 10 percent with poor
  overnight recovery.

* TIMING...The strongest winds are expected for late Wednesday
  night and Thursday with winds not as strong nor widespread for
  Friday and Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
