...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
California...Nevada...

  East Fork Carson River Near Gardnerville affecting Douglas and
  Alpine Counties.

.Warm temperatures and snowmelt in the Sierra will continue to
result in high flows along the West and East Forks of the Carson
River. Any rainfall from thunderstorms may cause brief surges in
river levels.

For the East Fork Carson River...including Markleeville,
Gardnerville...elevated river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The river will be
quick moving and very cold.

The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning at 1045 AM PDT.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...The river will fluctuate around monitor stage due to
  continued snowmelt.

* WHERE...East Fork Carson River Near Gardnerville.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Monitor stage, near Bank full, no flooding
  occurring. Residents along the river should prepare for flooding
  if additional rises due to snowmelt and/or rainfall runoff occur.
  Flood prone areas include Washoe Tribe Reservation, Carson Valley
  Country Club, Glenwood Dr, Riverview Dr, Centerville Rd., NV
  Highway 88, Westwood Village, Rocky Slough, Dresslerville Rd,
  Waterloo and Mottsville Lanes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:20 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a
    maximum value of 13.1 feet early Tuesday morning.
  - Action stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

For the West Fork Carson River...including Woodfords...elevated
river levels are forecast.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...West Fork Carson River At Woodfords.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Minor flooding begins in lowest areas
  along the West Fork of the Carson River in southwest Carson Valley
  including agricultural areas, local roads and outbuildings.
  Residents along the river should prepare for more serious flooding
  if there are additional rises expected due to snowmelt and/or
  rainfall runoff.  Impacts will be more significant if heavy rain
  and/or snowmelt causes significant rises in small creeks draining
  the east side of the Carson Range below Woodfords.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:20 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 13.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a
    maximum value of 13.4 feet early Tuesday morning.
  - Action stage is 12.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 13.5 feet.
