URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...Snow will Impact Sierra Travel Friday Night into Saturday
Morning...

.A quick moving winter storm will bring widespread snow to the
northern Sierra and portions of the southern Cascades tonight
into tomorrow morning. Snow could become heavy for a time late
tonight into early tomorrow morning. The majority of the snow
accumulation is expected above 5000 feet, but snow levels will be
falling tomorrow morning with some light accumulation down to
around 3500 feet possible. If you have mountain travel plans
during the time of the advisory be prepared for chain controls,
reduced visibility, and winter driving conditions.

EVENING TO 10 AM PST SATURDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Total
  snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches, with localized amounts up
  to 11 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Western Plumas County/Lassen Park and West Slope
  Northern Sierra Nevada.

* WHEN...10 PM Friday to 10 AM Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
