...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 12
  inches above 5000 feet, locally higher over peaks. Additional snow
  accumulations of 4 to 9 inches down to around 3500 feet in Shasta
  County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Burney Basin / Eastern Shasta County, Shasta Lake Area /
  Northern Shasta County, West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada, and
  Western Plumas County/Lassen Park Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times from falling snow and
  slick travel conditions. These hazardous conditions are expected
  to impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow is expected this morning.
  Renewed mountain snowfall chances are expected through the weekend
  and into early next week as additional weather systems move
  through the region.
