...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM MONDAY TO 4 AM PST TUESDAY
FOR LAKE TAHOE...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph and
  waves 3 to 5 feet for Lake Tahoe.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to 4 AM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to
  capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions
  improve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a
sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing
boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM MONDAY TO 4 AM
PST TUESDAY ABOVE 6500 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow above 6500 feet. Snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches
  except up to 12 inches along the Sierra crest. Winds gusting as
  high as 50 mph in valleys and over 100 mph along the Sierra crest.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to 4 AM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially across area
  passes. The hazardous conditions could make for longer commute
  times and possible travel delays. Strong winds could cause damage
  to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake waters will be rough and choppy with
  wave heights 3 to 5 feet on Lake Tahoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.
