...Stormy Pattern Expected Next Week...

After a relatively quiet day on Sunday, an active pattern will
resume on Monday with periods of snow and gusty winds through
Wednesday and possibly Thursday. While we are not anticipating
any strong storms, these storms will be on the colder side, which
could bring snow to valley floors.

There continues to be a downward trend in liquid/snow totals,
especially east of the Sierra crest. A high boom or bust potential
exists with the latest model snowfall projections showing
variable solutions with anywhere between several inches to up to
15 inches possible for the Sierra crest. In any case, travel
disruptions should be expected across the Sierra and possibly at
times into Western Nevada Monday through Wednesday.
