...HEAVY RAIN THIS WEEKEND THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK IS EXPECTED TO

Moderate to locally heavy rain will occur across northwest
California Sunday and Monday, and possibly into Tuesday. Rapid rises
on area rivers are anticipated, with some main stem rivers
expected to reach flood stage Tuesday and Wednesday. Periods of
moderate to heavy rainfall may also cause small streams and low-
lying urban areas to flood, and may also increase the risk for
mountain mud and rock-slides.
