...CRITICAL TO EXTREMELY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
EXPECTED THROUGH TUESDAY...

.An exceptionally dry airmass will linger across northern
California through Tuesday. Northeast to east winds remain gusty
through Tuesday across exposed mountain slopes and ridges. The
combination of dry vegetation, low humidity values, and strong
winds will yield a critical to extremely critical fire weather
threat.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM TUESDAY...

* HUMIDITY...Daytime humidity values in the single digits
  followed by overnight recoveries from 15 to 30 percent.

* WINDS...Northeast to east winds sustained up to 20 mph with
  gusts to 40 mph across exposed ridges.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

A Red Flag Warning is currently in effect for portions of the area,
mainly wind-exposed elevations above 1500 feet. Winds will not be as
strong as last night, though. See the warning statement for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A Red Flag Warning will continue for portions of the area through
Tuesday afternoon.
