...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
California...
Merced River at Stevinson affecting Merced County.
For the Merced River...at Stevinson...Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
This warning will be in effect until the river falls below its flood
stage.

* WHERE...Merced River at Stevinson.

* IMPACTS...At 65.0 feet, Hagaman Park along Highway 165 begins to
flood.
At 69.0 feet, The playground area in Hagaman Park along Highway
165 is flooded.
At 70.5 feet, Water is up to the maintenance building in Hagaman
Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 71.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 AM PDT Saturday was 71.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
stage at 71.3 feet.
- Flood stage is 71.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
