...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by moderate to heavy rainfall.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
  areas, much of Los Angeles County, and eastern Ventura County.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Widespread ponding of water on roadways, and minor
  flooding in low-lying areas and in intersections. In and around
  the Palisades, Franklin, Eaton, Hughes, Bridge, Kenneth, Lidia,
  Sunset, and Hurst burn scars, minor and shallow mud and debris
  flows are possible. Rockslides are possible in and near steep
  terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 739 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated moderate to locally heavy rain across eastern
    Ventura County and western Los Angeles County, which will
    overspread the rest of Los Angeles County by 830 pm PST.
    Rainfall rates of two to three tenths of an inch per hour are
    expected in many locations through the evening, with rates up
    to four tenth of an inch per hour possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Simi Valley, Malibu, Acton, Burbank, Pasadena, Altadena,
    Universal City, North Hollywood, Hollywood, Alhambra,
    Downtown Los Angeles, Van Nuys, Beverly Hills, Encino,
    Northridge, Culver City, Santa Clarita and Inglewood. In
    addition, moderate to heavy rain will also affect the
    Palisades, Franklin, Eaton, Hughes, Bridge, Kenneth, Lidia,
    Sunset, and Hurst burn scars.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by moderate to heavy rainfall.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
  areas, most of Ventura County, southeastern Santa Barbara County
  and far western Los Angeles County.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Widespread ponding of water on roadways, and minor
  flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas and in
  intersections. In and around the Mountain and Lake burn scars,
  minor and shallow mud flows are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 601 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated moderate to locally heavy rain in the advisory
    area, with minor flooding already occurring. Between 0.3 and
    0.6 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall rates of two to
    three tenths of an inch per hour are expected in many
    locations through the evening.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ventura, Santa Barbara,
    Camarillo, Fillmore, western Malibu, Ojai, Montecito, Agoura
    Hills, Santa Ynez, Moorpark, Santa Paula, Port Hueneme,
    Carpinteria and
    La Conchita.
