...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
  counties, much of Los Angeles County, and far eastern Ventura
  County.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Widespread ponding of water on roadways and freeways,
  and minor flooding in low-lying areas and in intersections. Minor
  and shallow debris flows consisting of rock slides and mud slides
  are possible around steep terrain and especially around burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1AM PST, local law enforcement reported minor freeway and
    roadway flooding from additional light to moderate rains
    pushing across the advisory area. Shallow debris flows
    consisting of rock and mud slides have occurred around the
    Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars. Additional minor flooding,
    and shallow debris flows, will be possible through the pre-
    dawn hours of Friday. While not immediately likely, there
    will be a low potential for a more significant debris flow to
    occur, especially around the Franklin, Palisades, Eaton, and
    Bridge Burn Scars. Stay tuned for further updates.

    Simi Valley, Malibu, Acton, Wrightwood, Burbank, Griffith
    Park, Pasadena, Universal City, North Hollywood, Mount
    Wilson, Hollywood, Alhambra, Downtown Los Angeles, Van Nuys,
    Beverly Hills, Encino, Northridge, Culver City, Santa
    Clarita, and Inglewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Minor flooding and debris flows are imminent or occurring. Be
prepared for possible impacts.
