In northern California, Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba. * WHEN...Until midnight PST tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 503 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - The threat of flooding will continue through the evening as periods of moderate to heavy rain move over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.
