...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS, LOW HUMIDITY AND DRY FUELS FOR
WESTERN COLORADO FIRE WEATHER ZONES 200, 202 AND 290, AS WELL AS
AREAS BELOW 8000 FEET IN 203, 205 AND 292 ALONG WITH UTAH FIRE
WEATHER ZONES 487 AND 490...

.An upper level disturbance is expected to sweep across the Great
Basin tomorrow. The pressure gradient across the region will
increase as this system, and its associated cold front, approach.
The resultant breezy southwest winds combined with low relative
humidity and dry fuels may result in critical fire weather
conditions for portions of eastern Utah and western Colorado
during the afternoon and early evening Thursday.

THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
FIRE WEATHER ZONES 203, 205, AND 292 BELOW 8000 FEET...

* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 203 Lower
  Colorado River, Fire Weather Zone 205 Colorado River
  Headwaters and Fire Weather Zone 292 North Fork Forecast Area
  below 8000 feet.

* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...12 to 17 percent.

* IMPACTS...Conditions may become favorable for the rapid
  ignition, growth and spread of fires.
