This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorm development will again occur today. Coverage will
mainly be isolated near the 4 Corners to scattered over the
southern and central Colorado mountains. Lightning will be the
main threat. Some of the storms could be slow moving with moderate
rainfall rates that could create runoff issues. Critical fire
weather conditions will expand out of east-central Utah into
northwest Colorado where gusty winds and low humidity will be
found this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Thunderstorm activity will occur over much of the southern and
central Colorado terrain each afternoon early next week. Storm
coverage looks to become more widespread by late in the week.
Warming temperatures will continue to eat at the snowpack and
flows elevated flows on some river systems will increase. Flows
on the Green and Colorado will also be increased due to reservoir
releases. However at this time no flooding is forecast.
