Expect winds gusting 25 to 35 mph in the Four Corners area with gusts to 45 mph over the San Juan Mountains. Scattered snow showers today across the Colorado mountains will taper off through the afternoon, ending by evening. Expect little if any snow accumulation from these showers. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. The next system moves in Thursday into Friday bringing another round of snow for the northern and central mountains and gusty winds generally north of the I-70 corridor. Heading into the weekend, another system drops in from the northwest bringing more snow to the same areas as Thursday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction. $$
