This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Dry and windy conditions will lead to widespread critical fire
weather conditions with wind gusts of 25 to 40 mph possible over
many low and mid level elevations. Some stronger gusts are
possible over the mountains tomorrow afternoon. Isolated
thunderstorm development will be possible over portions of
northeast Utah and northwest Colorado this afternoon near an
approaching cold front. A noticeable increase in smoke will arrive
with the cold front and could impact air quality and visibility
into the early morning hours on Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Dry conditions expected to continue through Saturday before
moisture arrives by Sunday and keeps a threat of afternoon
thunderstorm development in the forecast through at least early
next week.
