This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorm development will be possible this afternoon across
much of the higher terrain of western Colorado. A better coverage
of storms are forecast from the northern Utah mountains to the
northern Colorado mountains with lightning development possible in
the valleys to the North. A few of the stronger storms could
contain small hail and wind gusts up to 45 mph. Storms should end
by late evening with only isolated light showers remaining
overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Afternoon thunderstorm activity will likely return across higher
terrain each afternoon through early next week. Storms look to
become more widespread Saturday into Tuesday. Warming temperatures
will continue to eat at the snowpack and flows will be increasing.
However at this time no flooding is forecast.
