This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Strong northwesterly winds will blow across the forecast area
this afternoon. Speeds of 20 to 40 mph will be common with gusts
up to 60 mph across the high mountains, foothills and immediate
plains. There will be elevated fire danger across the plains as
relative humidity will drop to 20-25 percent range. There is be
scattered light snow showers in the highs mountains with minor
accumulations. The strong northwesterly winds should decrease
this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

After a few warmer and dry days, colder weather will return
starting Sunday. There will be a chance of snow in the mountains
and rain or snow at lower elevations Sunday through Tuesday, but
there is much uncertainty about the timing of precipitation and
how much colder it will be.
