This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty winds will develop tonight in and near the foothills. A few
gusts up to 60 mph will be possible after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

An arctic airmass will bring bitterly cold air to Colorado beginning
Saturday and lasting through Tuesday morning. Low temperatures could
reach -5 to -15 degrees across the I-25 corridor and eastern
plains, with the lowest temperatures occurring Monday night.
Temperatures during the day Monday may remain near zero. Breezy
conditions at times on the plains could produce wind chill values
as low as 30 degrees below zero creating danger for people,
livestock, and pets spending time outside. The worst wind chills
will be Sunday night through Monday night.

Snow will arrive late Friday afternoon and will continue into
Saturday morning. Snowfall amounts for the I-25 corridor will
range from 3 to 7 inches in the I-25 corridor, with up to 10
inches on the east slopes of the Front Range. The eastern plains
will have an inch or two of snow, but that could still produce
some travel impacts. Travel conditions will likely deteriorate
during rush hour Friday afternoon, and impacts will continue
through Saturday morning. Another round of light snow is expected
Sunday night into Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
