This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE PALMER DIVIDE...SOUTHERN FRONT
RANGE FOOTHILLS...AND SOUTH PARK UNTIL 10 PM THIS EVENING...

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow and hazardous winter travel conditions will continue off and
on through this evening in/near the Palmer Divide, southern Front
Range Foothills, and South Park. Total snow accumulations of 2-7
inches can be expected in those locations through late this
evening, with the heavier amounts confined to areas south of
Conifer and southwest of Castle Rock. Metro Denver will be on the
northern and eastern edge of snow, but around an inch of snow and
slick travel conditions will be possible this evening over the
western and southern suburbs. Dry conditions will prevail farther
north and east across the northeast plains.

Snow will end in the foothills and Palmer Divide late this
evening, while lighter snow showers continue in the mountains
through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Light snow is expected in the mountains Tuesday, mainly during the
morning hours. Additional mountain snowfall is expected to be less
than 3 inches.  Elsewhere, cool and windy conditions will prevail
with gusts of 35 to 45 mph. Milder conditions return Wednesday and
for the rest of the week. Next chance for snow will be over the
mountains Thursday night and Friday.
