...A WINTER WEATHER RETURNS THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT FOR THE
NORTHERN MOUNTAINS, FOOTHILLS, AND ADJACENT PLAINS...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Windy conditions will continue this morning where peak wind gusts
around 60 mph can be expected in some of the wind prone
locations, including the Peak to Peak Highway, foothills of
Boulder County, and along Highway 93 between Boulder and Golden.
Snow will begin in the northern mountains this afternoon before
pushing east onto the lower elevations late tonight. Slick travel
conditions can be expected in the northern mountains overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Snow will continue across the higher elevations and adjacent
plains on Saturday, with light to moderate accumulations expected.
Slick and slow travel will likely impact some of the weekend ski
traffic. Colder temperatures are also expected across the region.

Snow will linger into Sunday across the mountains, with quieter
weather for the plains. Temperatures will gradually trend warmer
next week, with a chance for some light snow Wednesday and
Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
