...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON UNTIL 10 PM TODAY FOR
PORTIONS OF THE FRONT RANGE INCLUDING THE Cameron PEAK...EAST
TROUBLESOME...AND CALWOOD BURN AREAS...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Expect scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms across
the mountains, foothills and western half of the plains this
afternoon into this evening. Isolated coverage is expected over
the northeast plains. Some areas can expect locally heavy
rainfall, which could lead to flooding. The best chances for
flooding will be over the alpine burned areas north of I-70,
including the Cameron Peak, East Troublesome and Calwood burned
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected
through the upcoming week, with the highest coverage focused in
and near the mountains and foothills. Some of the storms will
produce locally heavy rainfall and possible flooding. Flood prone
locations, such as the burn areas, will be at the greatest risk
for flash flooding. Gusty winds, small hail, and lightning will
also be threats.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However,
any significant rainfall and flooding reports will be
appreciated.
