There is also a slight chance of strong to severe thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening in areas east of Sterling and Akron. For the coming week, there will be a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms each day, mainly in the mountains. Wednesday afternoon and evening looks like the most active day.
