This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Elevated to critical fire danger will exist over the plains on
Monday, especially near the Wyoming Nebraska border, due to gusty
winds and low humidity. A pattern change will begin late Tuesday
and continue through Thursday. Snow will become more likely in the
mountains by Wednesday into Thursday. Across the plains there
will be a chance of rain and snow by Thursday.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 5 PM MST MONDAY FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR NORTHEAST LARIMER AND NORTHERN
WELD COUNTIES...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM to 5 PM MST Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238 and 242.

* TIMING...From 11 AM to 5 PM MST Monday.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
  Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
  spark and start a wildfire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
