This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the mountains
by midday and then spread across the plains during the afternoon
and evening. They will produce strong, gusty outflow winds from
45 to 55 mph but mainly light rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Critical fire weather conditions are likely across most of the
plains, foothills, and mountain valleys Thursday afternoon, when
wind gusts of 30-40 mph are expected. The gusty winds will combine
with summer-like heat and low humidity readings.

For Thursday through the weekend and into early next week, the
days will be warm and mainly dry, with just an isolated storm or
two possible each day. There will be cool mornings Friday and
Saturday, with below freezing temperatures in colder mountain
areas. There will be some moderation of the morning lows over the
weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However,
any reports of strong, gusty winds will be appreciated.
