...Arctic cold through early Thursday morning...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very cold temperatures will remain in place today, with high
temperatures only reaching near 10 degrees or just above in most
locations. Lows tonight will drop below zero in all but the
western portions of Denver. Some valley locations will dip to 10
to 20 below zero. Despite light winds, wind chill readings will
drop into the -15F to -25F degree range this evening through early

several layers of loose fitting clothing, including a hat and
mittens. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Travelers should prepare for a prolonged period of moderate to
locally heavy mountain snowfall Thursday night through Saturday,
impacting travel on all passes. For the lower elevations, another
round of light snow is expected Friday night, with potential for
a second storm system and additional snow late Monday into
Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However,
any snowfall reports will be appreciated.
