This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Much cooler temperatures will be in place across the forecast area
today behind last night`s cold front. Afternoon showers and storms
will be possible with an isolated severe threat, mainly for wind
and some smaller hail, with the greatest threat expected across
Lincoln County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Organized severe storms are expected Tuesday afternoon and evening
capable of producing large to very large hail, strong winds, and
even a tornado across our lower elevations. The SPC has the
majority of our plains in a slight risk for severe weather,
including the Denver metro area.

Unsettled weather will continue as isolated severe storms are
possible on Wednesday afternoon as well, with the main threat
being for the far northeastern corner of the state for the
afternoon and evening hours.

Warmer and drier conditions are expected to return Thursday and
into the weekend.
