This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Mountain snow will become moderate to occasionally heavy this
afternoon, resulting in difficult travel conditions. The foothills
and lower elevations may also see a few inches locally under some
snow bands this afternoon. Snow will taper off quickly in the
evening, with strengthening winds in the higher mountain
elevations leading to blowing snow and reducing visibilities at
pass levels. Cold temperatures locally into the single digits
expected tonight in the plains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A weather system is expected Sunday night into Tuesday, creating
hazardous driving conditions for the mountains. Snow is possible
for the plains on Monday evening, accumulating to a couple of
inches at most.

Arctic air will arrive Tuesday through Thursday. Wednesday morning
temperatures are expected to be in the negatives.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
