This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will continue along the Continental Divide today, with
accumulations of 1 to 4 inches possible by early this evening. Gusty
southwest winds will accompany the snow, leading to some occasional
low visibility in blowing snow over high mountain passes, including
Wolf Creek, Monarch and Fremont Passes. Over the remainder of the
high terrain, scattered snow showers will develop this afternoon,
with spotty 1 to 2 inch accumulations possible.

Tonight, steadier snow will develop over the Sangre de Cristo Range,
the Wet Mountains and the southern I-25 corridor, where accumulations
of 1 to 4 inches will be possible by early Tuesday morning. The
heaviest amounts will likely be over the southern Sangres, from
La Veta Pass southward.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Breezy to windy conditions can be expected across the region
Wednesday night and Thursday, as a weather system quickly moves
across Rockies. This system could also bring quick bursts of snow
to the area, especially from the central mountains through the
eastern mountains and plains, and combined with the gusty winds,
could produce travel impacts Wednesday night and Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be likely over portions of the region.
