Dry conditions will prevail on Thursday, with a few possible showers and thunderstorms across the southeast Plains on Friday. Cooler temperatures with good chances for showers and thunderstorms can be expected this weekend. A few strong storms will be possible across the far southeast plains Saturday afternoon, with more widespread rain developing across south central and into southeast Colorado late Saturday morning and afternoon. Rain and higher mountain snow, will continue to spread north and east across the eastern mountains into northeastern Colorado Saturday night, with the potential for several inches of accumulating snow across the higher mountain peaks by Sunday morning, especially across the central mountains into the Pikes Peak region.
