This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Critical to near critical fire weather conditions can be expected
across eastern Colorado this afternoon, with a red flag warning in
effect from noon to 7 PM for Kiowa, Bent and Prowers Counties.

Isolated to scattered afternoon showers can be expected, with an
isolated thunderstorm also possible, across the higher terrain of
the central mountains and into the Pikes Peak region. Storms will be
high based, producing gusty outflow winds with little measurable
rainfall expected.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the higher terrain on
Sunday, with isolated to scattered storms over the mountains and
high valleys on Monday. Thunderstorms chances should increase
Tuesday over the mountains and high valleys, with some isolated
storms possibly spreading to the southeast plains in the evening.
On Wednesday, isolated storms will be possible along the I-25
corridor, with scattered storms over the mountains and high
valleys. Storms become more isolated for Thursday and Friday, and
mainly confined to the mountains. The main risks with storms will
be lightning and gusty outflow winds.
