This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Above normal temperatures and high fire danger are expected today,
especially for the San Luis Valley and portions of the I-25
corridor. Please avoid activities that could start a wildfire
today!

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A higher end critical fire weather day is expected on Monday
during the late morning lasting through the evening. Wind gusts up
to 50 mph collocated with single digit relative humidity values
will create conditions that will enable rapid fire growth. Fires
that start will be very difficult, if not impossible to control.

Near High Wind Warning winds are expected over the plains on
Tuesday with critical fire weather conditions possible over the
southern I-25 corridor.

Fire weather conditions will continue through Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 6 PM MDT
MONDAY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 220...

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 220.

* Winds...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 13 percent.

* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid rates of fire
  growth and spread.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
