This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Critical fire weather conditions are expected across portions of the
southern I-25 corridor this afternoon.

Northerly winds are expected to increase across parts of the plains
this afternoon, with a few gusts to 55 to 60 mph appearing possible.

Scattered snow showers are likely today and tonight along the
Continental Divide, with light snow accumulations expected. A small
window of heavy snow is possible along the Palmer Divide late this
afternoon into this evening. Some locations across northern El Paso
county could observe reduced visibility, strong northerly winds with
blowing snow, and slippery conditions. Those traveling this evening
should expect widely varying conditions in this location.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Isolated to scattered snow and rain showers will be possible
across the higher terrain Friday afternoon and evening and again
Saturday afternoon. Any snow accumulation is expected to be spotty
and light.

Drier and warmer weather can be expected later this weekend into
early next week. This, combined with breezy afternoon winds will
lead to possible critical fire weather conditions Sunday and
Monday across the lower elevations of south central and southeast
Colorado.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions the meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over the central mountains, and parts of northern El
Paso this evening.
