This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated showers will be possible over and near the higher terrain
later this afternoon and evening, with any snow accumulations
expected to be spotty and light.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Breezy and warm conditions will return for Sunday through Tuesday
with critical fire weather conditions possible across the San Luis
Valley, and I-25 corridor on Sunday. Critical Fire Weather
conditions will become more widespread and may include a greater
portion of the southeast plains on Monday. A weak front may bring
some lighter winds and confine critical fire weather conditions to
the southern I-25 corridor for Tuesday. Bottom line, high fire
danger will return to a good portion of southern Colorado late
this weekend through early next week, and activities which could
spark a wildfire should be avoided.

Another more potent storm system may spread a good chance of snow
into the mountains on Thursday, with rain and snow spreading across
the southeast plains on Friday, depending on the storm track.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
