Light snow or flurries will continue across the eastern plains this morning as well, and are expected to diminish significantly by midday. Most areas will just see a trace of new snow, but up to an inch of new accumulation will be possible under snow bands. Much colder temperatures are expected today, with highs in the teens and 20s and lows in the single digits above zero from I-25 westward and the single digits below zero over the eastern plains. Wind chill readings will dip to as cold as 25 below zero across the far eastern counties tonight, which could cause frost bite on exposed skin in 20 minutes or less. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Cold temperatures will persist across the plains through Thursday morning, with wind chills several degrees below zero. Coldest temperatures are expected closer to the Colorado/Kansas border, with wind chills in the negative teens Thursday morning. Frost bite could set in on exposed skin in 30 minutes or less. Light snow will also continue off and on across the peaks of the Continental Divide, mainly Thursday and onwards. Another system will move into the area this weekend, but with temperatures warming and the system still being resolved in the data, impacts are uncertain outside of some light to moderate snow across the Continental Divide. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
