The main risk for thunderstorms will be lightning and brief moderate to heavy rainfall. Areas of fog will develop across the southeast plains overnight and persist through Saturday morning. Fog could become dense at times, especially across El Paso County. Use caution if you are traveling across the region tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday For Saturday, isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible, mainly across the eastern mountains and plains. Wind gusts to 45 mph and pea size hail will be possible along with cloud to ground lightning. Over the San Luis valley, critical fire weather conditions are anticipated on Saturday. On Sunday, there is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms over the far eastern plains of Colorado. Wind gusts to 70 mph and hail up to the size of quarters will be possible. Widespread critical fire weather conditions will be possible on Sunday across a large part of the region due to strong southwest winds and low humidity values. These critical fire weather conditions may continue into Monday along the Colorado and New Mexico border. Into next week, unsettled weather is anticipated and we will likely have a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day over the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
