This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Isolated to scattered showers will be possible over and near the
mountains tonight. Snow levels will drop to between 7000 and 8500
feet across northern portions of southern Colorado towards
morning with the possibility of some light snow of under an inch
across the Palmer Divide. The mountains will generally see between
1 and 4 inches with the heaviest falling across the Sawatch and
Mosquito ranges above 11000 feet.

Scattered showers will spread northward across the southeast
plains late tonight. Some isolated embedded thunderstorms will be
possible near the Colorado Kansas border with lightning, brief
heavy rainfall and some small hail possible with the stronger
storms after 3 AM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible
across the eastern Colorado plains on Thursday with lingering snow
showers in the higher terrain.

Warmer and drier weather is anticipated for Friday through the
upcoming holiday weekend, though a few afternoon and evening
thunderstorms can not be ruled out Saturday onward, across the
eastern Colorado plains.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be likely across the mountains tonight and possible late tonight
across the far southeast plains.
