The best chance for heavier rain showers will be over the mountains, valleys and the southern I-25 corridor region. Funnel clouds are possible once again over the plains, but are not expected to reach the ground, but may cause little to no damage if they do. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Daily afternoon and evening rain showers and thunderstorms will persist through this week and into the weekend. Heavy rain and lightning will be the most likely hazards from these storms. However, increased moisture and slow-moving storms will enhance the flooding potential but mainly over burn scars, or localized areas that have received repeated rounds of rainfall. While confidence is still low at this time, signals continue for potential strong to severe storms across parts of the eastern plains during the later half of this upcoming week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be possible over portions of the region. $$ STEWARD/RODRIGUEZ
