This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Thunderstorms are anticipated over the mountains this afternoon.
There is a slight chance of flash flooding over the Spring and
Hayden Pass burn scars as thunderstorms will be possible over
these regions. It is also possible for some flash flooding over
the old West Fork burn scars this afternoon through tonight as
locally heavy rain is possible over the San Juan mountains. The
primary risks will be gusty winds, small hail, and cloud to ground
lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible over the area Monday and
Tuesday, with the greatest chance for storms over the mountains
along the Continental Divide. The main risks from any storms will
be gusty winds, small hail, and cloud to ground lightning. Fire
danger will also increase across the eastern plains on Tuesday,
as winds strengthen and warm temperatures continue. Another storm
system is expected to move across the region Thursday and Friday,
bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms over the mountains
and lower elevations.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be
possible across the mountains this afternoon and evening.
