This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue
throughout the afternoon over the mountains and mountain valleys.
Isolated thunderstorms are expected over the far eastern plains
during the afternoon, especially from Kim to Lamar. The main
impacts from the storms over the plains are wind gusts up to 55
mph, and the main impacts from the storms over the mountains and
mountain valleys are wind gusts up to 35 mph, isolated small hail,
and cloud to ground lightning. Some locally heavy rain could
affect the Hayden Pass and Spring burn scars.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible over the mountains
Tuesday, with the greatest chance for storms along the
Continental Divide. The main risks from any storms will be gusty
winds, small hail, and cloud to ground lightning. Fire danger will
also increase across the eastern plains on Tuesday, as winds
strengthen and warm temperatures continue. Another storm system is
expected to move across the region Thursday and Friday, bringing
a chance of showers and thunderstorms over the mountains and lower
elevations on Thursday, then increasing winds and high fire danger
on Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be
possible over the mountains, mountain valleys, and eastern plains
this afternoon and evening.
