This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Red Flag warnings are in effect for most of the plains this
afternoon. Strong gusty winds and low humidity values will allow
for rapid fire spread if a fire were to start. Please do not do
anything that could start a fire.

It will be windy over most of the entire region today, with winds
in the 15 to 30 mph range, with gusts to 35 to 45 mph over the
valleys and plains. Winds will be stronger in the exposed mountain
areas. Travel on north-south highways will be difficult,
especially I-25 from the New Mexico border to Colorado Springs.

Over the central mountains, snow will fall, and 4 to 8 inches of
wind driven snow is likely through late this evening.

Spotters Yes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
