Light snow will linger over the Mountains overnight. Strong winds will produce widespread blowing snow over the higher terrain, producing very low visibility on area highways and over mountain passes. Very strong winds are expected from mid morning, through early evening across all of southern Colorado. Gusts in excess of 60 mph are likely across the San Luis Valley, and across the Plains. Mountain peaks may see gusts near 90 mph. Areas of blowing dust on the Plains may reduce visibility to near 1 mile at times. Strong cross winds on north-south oriented highways may blow over light weight and high profile vehicles.
