This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will continue to fall over the Sawatch Range, the Mosquito
Range, and Lake County, where an additional one to 3 inches are
possible over the higher elevations. Snow is expected to develop
over the eastern mountains and over the plains this evening. The
plains should expect 1 to 4 inches, with heaviest snowfall amounts
closer to the mountains, over the Palmer Divide, and the I-25
corridor in southern Pueblo, Huerfano, and Las Animas Counties.
The Wet mountains are expected to get 3 to 4 inches of snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Light snow will continue across the southeast plains and lower
eastern slopes of the southeast mountains on Tuesday though
additional accumulations will be light with additional snowfall
amounts remaining under an inch.

The next round of snow will spread into the southwest mountains
Tuesday night and into the southeast mountains and plains
Wednesday and Wednesday night. Light to moderate snowfall
accumulations will be possible as a band of snow sets up across
southeast Colorado. The heavier snowfall accumulations will be
most likely to impact the northeast facing slopes of the Wets and
Sangre De Cristo mountains, and well as the southeast plains along
and south of highway 50. The Wednesday evening and Thursday
morning commutes could be slick, snowpacked and icy across a good
portion of southern Colorado.

Snow decreases on Thursday with any additional accumulations
expected to remain light. Another storm system will bring a chance
of snow to southern Colorado next weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters are
possible this afternoon and tonight over the central and eastern
Mountains, including Lake County, and the eastern plains.
