This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow will develop over the central mountains this evening, the
spread across the remainder of the higher terrain by midnight. After
midnight, snow will spread to lower elevations and across the
plains. By early Sunday morning, 1 to 3 inches of accumulation will
be possible over the higher mountain peaks, with amounts of around
an inch or less at lower elevations. While the snow will be light,
enough may fall to make for slick roads in spots early Sunday
morning, especially over the mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Isolated to scattered light snow showers are likely early Sunday,
mainly across the Raton Mesa region and southern parts of the
eastern plains. Impacts are expected to remain minimal, but slick
spots may be possible early in the morning on roads.

A larger storm system is likely to impact southern Colorado late
Monday and through Tuesday. Snow is likely along the mountains, with
snow possible at lower elevations. Strong winds will also be
possible along the leeward side of most mountain ranges, but
especially the southern Sangre de Cristo.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over portions of the region.
