Gusty winds and low humidity will result in favorable conditions for fire spread where vegetative fuels are receptive to fire. Snow will spread into the Continental Divide late tonight. An inch or two of accumulation will be possible by early Friday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Moderate to briefly heavy snow will continue across the mountains with the focus shifting into portions of the southeast mountains and adjacent I-25 corridor during the day Friday. Isolated embedded thunderstorms will be possible which could bring some brief snow bursts in and near the mountains. Snowfall amounts will range from 5 to 10 inches across the central mountains with 4 to 8 inches possible across Teller county. Three to 6 inches will be possible across the Southwest mountains, the Sangre De Cristo and Wet mountains and northern El Paso county, with 1 to 3 inches possible across the remainder of the valleys and southern portions of the I-25 corridor. Precipitation will fall as rain or a brief rain/snow mix with little to no accumulation across the remainder of the southeast plains. Snow decreases Friday night with dry weather returning for the weekend into early next week. Spotty critical fire weather conditions may return Monday and Tuesday for portions of the southeast plains and southern I-25 corridor. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
