...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO
2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Coastal Flood Advisory for minor coastal flooding
  during the times of high tide this morning into early
  afternoon.

* WHERE...In Connecticut, Southern Fairfield and Southern New
  Haven Counties. In New York, Southern Westchester,
  Northwestern Suffolk and Northern Nassau Counties.

* WHEN...From noon to 2 PM EDT today.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding is
  expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront
  and shoreline. Expect around 1 to 1 1/2 feet of inundation
  above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads
  and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and
  homes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will
  experience shallow flooding.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...Breaking waves of 2 to 3 ft along the
  south shore of Connecticut may result in beach erosion and
  wave splashover during the times of high tide today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.
