...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA...
SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY...NORTHWESTERN PRINCE GEORGES...CENTRAL
LOUDOUN...ARLINGTON...AND NORTHEASTERN FAIRFAX COUNTIES...THE CITY OF
FALLS CHURCH AND THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA...

At 343 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Purcellville,
or 9 miles northwest of Leesburg, moving southeast at 40 mph.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Arlington, Alexandria, Germantown, Rockville, Bethesda, Gaithersburg,
Reston, Leesburg, Annandale, College Park, Fort Washington, Herndon,
Greenbelt, Langley Park, Fort Hunt, Vienna, Groveton, Falls Church,
Broadlands and Huntington.
