THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
A few lighting strikes will be possible over the Atlantic waters
as well as the Treasure Coast inland to Lake Okeechobee associated
with a slow moving storm or two from mid afternoon into this
evening.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A persistent ocean swell will lead to a Moderate risk for
dangerous rip currents. While rip currents will be present all
day, the risk will be highest between 1230 PM and 630 PM due to
tidal effects. If headed to the beach, swim only within sight of a
lifeguard, and never enter the ocean alone.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Seas will build to around 6 feet over the Gulf stream as well as
the offshore waters beyond 20 miles from the coast north of Cape
Canaveral. Small craft should exercise caution.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
River Flood Warnings remain in effect for the forecast points at
Astor, Deland, Sanford and Geneva. The forecast point at Astor
will remain in Moderate Flood Stage while continuing a very slow
decline through early next week. The forecast points at Deland,
Sanford, and Geneva above Lake Harney will remain in Minor Flood
Stage while also continuing a slow decline through this weekend.
The river at Geneva is forecast to drop into Action Stage by next
Tuesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
Poor boating conditions will continue well offshore north of Cape
Canaveral on Sunday. The risk for dangerous rip currents is
expected to remain elevated through this weekend and into early
next week. A few lightning storms are possible over the Atlantic
waters Sunday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
